  • What is Cougar speed dating?

    Cougar speed dating is a fun and easy way for younger men are interested in dating older women and older women interested in dating younger men to meet. You will speak to each person for about 5 minutes and then make a note of who you are interested in. You will receive contact information for all your mutual matches within 24 hours or less of the event.

  • What makes you different from other speed dating events in Los Angeles?

    Besides the fact that the events are limited to men 21-35 and women 38-50, you will have a chance to win great prizes in our drawing. You will also promptly receive email notification of your mutual matches within 24 hours or less. No waiting and no need to log onto a site.

  • What time does the event start?

    Check in starts at 7pm and the speed dating will begin promptly at 7:30pm .

  • How long will the event last?

    That will depend on how many people attend; however it will last at least 2 hours including intermission. 

  • Can I bring friends?

    You can certainly bring friends, however only those who have registered will be able to participate in the event.

  • Do I need to be single to attend your event?

    You must be single in order to participate. We do not perform any checks to verify the marital status of any participant. Such checks are the responsibility of the participant seeking such information.

  • What if I'm not within the age range?

    While you are certainly welcome to sign up, people attending a Cougar Speed Dating event do so because they are looking for someone in a very specific age range. This is what makes Cougar Speed Dating unique!

  • What should I wear?

    Dress to impress.

  • What is included in the ticket price?

    Besides the actual event, the ticket price includes a complimentary bottle of cougar energy, shots of vodka and hors d'oeuvres. There will also be a drawing during intermission for a free full body massage, free deep cleansing facial and more!

  • Can I buy a ticket the night of the event?

    Because a successful event depends on an even number of males and females, all participants must pre-register.

  • How do I sign up?

    You can sign up on the Sign Up Form. No paper tickets are required. Be sure to bring your I.D. to sign in for the event.

  • Can I pay without doing it through the Internet?

    We use paypal, which is a secure and encrypted checkout system for your protection. We never have access to your credit card. However, if you do not wish to use paypal, please contact us.

  • What if I need to cancel?

  • Where do I park?

    You can use the parking for the ArcLight theatres.

  • How many people will I meet?

    That will depend on how many people sign up. We're anticipating anywhere from 20-40 people, so you will meet 10-20 possible matches!

  • How much time will I have with each person?

    You will be speaking with every potential match for about 5 minutes. Just enough time to whet your appetite!

  • What happens when the event is over?

    You are free to stay and mingle. Club Sushi has great food, so if you're hungry, stay for dinner!

  • How will I know I have matches?

    You will be notified via email of your mutual matches within 24 hours or less of the event.

  • What information will you give to my matches?

    Only what you give us permission to give out. On the form you will use to note who you're interested in, there will be a space for you to let us know what you're comfortable giving out. You may provide their name, phone number and/or e-mail address.
