This page contains the "Terms of Use" of Cougar Speed Date. The "Terms of Use" is also referred to as our "Disclaimer" or "Terms and Conditions." Our Terms of Use constitute a "Legal Agreement" between every visitor of our website () and/or participant of our speed dating event. Our Terms of Use are subject to change at any time with or without prior notice. Every visitor and/or participant takes all responsibility and agrees to be solely accountable for not abiding by the Terms of Use as outlined in this "Agreement." If you do not agree to the terms set forth, do not register.
Cougar Speed Date organizes social events referred to as "speed dating" events to introduce adult singles to each other for love, friendship, business, or any other type of social relationship.
All Participants must be 21 years old or older. If requested, participant(s) must carry and immediately provide proof of identity and age to our host. If you register for the event and are not 21 years old or older, you will not be allowed to participate in the event and you will not receive a refund.
By registering for one of our speed dating events, you declare that you are single and available and not otherwise attached. Cougar Speed Date is not a matchmaking service and does not perform background checks on or screen any individuals participating in our events and takes no responsibility for the actions of the event's participants.. By registering with Cougar Speed Date you are agreeing that Cougar Speed Date is not liable for any damages, direct or indirect, that may in any way arise out of a Cougar Speed Date event. Cougar Speed Date provides a forum in which singles can meet face to face and does not make any guarantees of any kind. Cougar Speed Date events are held at a venue over which Cougar Speed Date and its associates have no control. Therefore, in the event that you are injured or suffer damages of any kind at a Cougar Speed Date event, you agree to release Cougar Speed Date and its associates from any liability with respect thereof.
Cougar Speed Date will do its best to introduce singles, but it does not guarantee that its services or efforts will result in "matches" nor will result in any future meeting or date with other Participants.
At our speed dating event you are not allowed to ask for someone's contact information directly.
I understand that I may be photographed and/or videotaped at this event for news or promotional purposes. I give my consent for same and release use of my images for these purposes.
If the event is canceled you will be notified immediately by Cougar Speed Date and refunded the money you paid to register for the event. If the event is postponed (moved to another date), you agree to attend the new event. If the event is moved to another venue, you agree to attend the event at the new venue. If you cannot attend due to a postponement or venue change, you are required to notify Cougar Speed Date immediately, so that we can then issue you a refund for the amount paid.
Cougar Speed Date will not sell or misuse any Participant's information. Cougar Speed Date will provide only your "matches" with your name, email and/or phone number. By registering for the event online (at ) or attending our event, you give us permission to distribute your name, email, and phone number to your "matches." Your matches are other participants who you notified us you were interested in and who shared a similar interest in you.
You agree that you will use the website lawfully and ethically. Our website contains copyrighted and proprietary information. No visitor or participant is allowed to download or share any images or text from our site. No visitor or participant is allowed to recreate our website for personal use, which includes saving our website in full or in part on their hard drive or in a PDF or other file.
In this paragraph "Competitor" refers to any company or organization in the same industry as Cougar Speed Date, or friend, relative, or employee of anyone in or associated with any company or organization in the same industry as Cougar Speed Date, including, dating and relationship websites or organizers of social events. If you are a Competitor you are not allowed to register for our speed dating event without prior, written consent from Cougar Speed Date. If you are a competitor you are required to inform Cougar Speed Date that you are a Competitor if you plan to attend one of our events.
It is your responsibility to take care of your property during and after our event. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen property, or any property you may have left behind at any of our events. We will make our best effort to help you search/or report any stolen or lost property, or any property left behind, so as long as we have been notified of the problem in a reasonable and timely manner.
Cougar Speed Date does not offer any monetary refunds unless we have purposefully cancelled the event or postponed the event to a date/time/place you are unable to attend.
Participant must notify Cougar Speed Date via email of cancellation within 5 business days of the event. If Participant fails to show at our event and did not notify us of his/her planned absence within 5 business days, participant forfeits his/her admission and all refunds and transfers. Cougar Speed Date can make exceptions to this rule at its sole discretion.
If you dispute our charge for any reason and initiate a charge back with your credit card company, we are authorized by you to send your credit card company a copy of the Paypal authorization form as well as a copy of your signed match card as proof of attendance. If you fail to attend an event without notifying us of your absence within 5 business days (as aforementioned), you are in no way entitled to a refund.
User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Cougar Speed Date, its officers, directors, consultants, hosts and employees from any and all losses, claims, damages, expenses (including reasonable fees, disbursements, and other charges of Counsel), actions, proceedings, liabilities or investigations (whether formal or informal), or threats thereof, based upon, relating to, or arising in connection with your attendance at our events, any and all of the services that Cougar Speed Date provides or claims to provide, as well as communications or meetings that you arrange on your own volition and on your own time with others who have participated in a Cougar Speed Date event. You agree that you take sole and complete responsibility for any and all actions that might occur during any meeting, communication or date.
You agree to let us publish any testimonial you submit to Cougar Speed Date on its website.
